¡¡¡¡On October 16, 2021, Zhang Jianhua, Member of the CPC Leadership Group of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), Director and Party Secretary of the National Energy Administration (NEA), visited ¡°Guohe One¡± Demonstration Project, and attended the commissioning ceremony of ¡°Guohe One +¡± Demonstration Project (Phase I) of Comprehensive Utilization in Smart Nuclear Energy. Qian Zhimin, Chairman and Party Secretary of State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC), and Zu Bin, Board Director and Deputy Party Secretary of SPIC, accompanied the visit.

¡¡¡¡Officially launched on April 13, 2021, ¡°Guohe One+¡± Demonstration Project is a key strategic task jointly undertaken by State Nuclear Power Demonstration Plant Co., Ltd. (SNPDP) and SPIC Business Model Innovation Center. Relying on the platform of ¡°Guohe One¡±, a national major science and technology project, this innovative project first adopts the ¡°Nuclear Energy +¡± business model, integrating nuclear heating, desalination and ¡°nuclear + wind + PV + stored energy¡± integrated smart energy system through a multi-energy smart control platform. It is also the first-of-a-kind project in comprehensive utilization of smart nuclear energy in China¡¯s nuclear industry. After operation, it can increase the annual power generation by 6 million kWh, avoid the use of standard coal by about 1,889 tons and reduce emissions of carbon dioxide by 5,167 tons.

As-built Effect of ¡°Guohe One+¡± Project

¡¡¡¡The Phase I project has completed the construction of distributed PV generation system with an installed capacity of 1,182 kilowatts, which is distributed on the rooftop of main sub-items, such as the SPIC New Energy Science and Technology Museum, the skill training building of ¡°Guohe One¡± Simulation International Exchange Center, the simulator teaching building, and on the carport. The project also includes vertical axis wind turbines, smart street lights, charging piles, lithium battery energy storage system and ¡°Dubhe One¡± - integrated smart energy management system.
